Silver Lion on theRPGSite asks a good question. One that I'm pondering as well, since I am in the process of evaluating what to put in the Elthos GM Guide.

Another factor for me is that I want a total of three distinctly separate books for Elthos actually. The Core Rules, the Gamesmaster's Guide and the World Weaver's Guide. Those three are where I'm going with this because I want to ensure that the GMs can take the elements that they want and interweave them together, or by pass them all together if you prefer. Some GMs might like the World Weaver's Guide but wish to use it with D20 Rules. Or someone might want to use the Elthos Core Rules and only the Gamesmaster's Guide, but not the World Weaver's Guide. Entirely feasible. And I see no reason why not to present the materials that way in order to enable the GM to easily leave out or include what he or she likes. :)

Capish? Make sense? Good idea | Drawbacks? And what would *you* want to see in the Elthos GM Guide?
